Pg 8 - Mounting & wiring the projector
projector 1This shot is the ceiling being laid out to mount wood to which the projector will mount.  The center line of the screen is about 2" away from the ceiling joist.
projector 2Make a bracket! Custom installations are, in large part, about brackets and fasteners.  These brackets are red oak from Lowe´s that I´ve glued together to get the necessary thickness.
projector 3With the brackets fitted and fastened, they can be painted.
projector 4The Sony mounting bracket in place.
projector 5The projector is mounted and I have epoxied Ty-rap bases to which I will fasten my video signal cabling
projector 6The Ty-rap bases are painted to match the ceiling.
projector 7Cabling is now in place and needs to be wrapped with black felt.  Rear surrounds, as per THX ASA recommendation, are now mounted.
